With our background sound licence for EUR 27, you may use the music for an unlimited period of time* within your premises (one licence is valid for one physical location) and at events (e.g. trade fairs, seminars, courses, festivals). In case of inquiries from a performing rights organisation, you can present the signed confirmation of PRO-free public performance issued by the composer.

This background sound licence does not permit the use of the music for videos or podcasts.

Allowed:
Offline public audio usage is permitted in locations such as hotel lobbies, medical offices, spas/wellness areas, government buildings, gyms, tanning salons, beer gardens, restaurants, bars, cafes, lounges, trade shows, city festivals, events. Additionally, live broadcasting of an event (e.g., a trade show opening) is permitted.

Not allowed:
The use of music in radio playlists, livestreams (exception: live broadcast of an event, e.g., a trade show opening), music and media projects such as videos, podcasts, vocal recordings, any online use, products, apps, games, etc., is not permitted.

What is included in the package?

As soon as you've placed your order, the songs from the album will be available for download in MP3 format (192 kbps) as a ZIP file in your customer area. Additionally, you can always access and download the invoice as well as the licensing and P.R.O. exemption document there.

Do I have to pay fees to Performing Rights Organizations such as ASCAP?

No, you do not need to pay any fees because our music is not registered with collecting societies such as GEMA, SACEM, SUISA, AKM, ASCAP, and others. A binding exemption document, personally signed by the composer, serves as proof. This document is required as evidence if a Performing Rights Organization asks for it during their audits.

Why can't I use a Spotify playlist for business purposes?
